I goofed and missed my Wednesday run. I felt a bit like a turkey. (I got the hat in Turkey)
It's the first complete miss since starting the Goofy Plan in early July. Hopefully I picked a good time to miss. It's supposed to be taper time prior to next week's marathon.
Today I ran 7 miles run around the block. I wanted an easy 9:00/mi pace. It's in the fast range of my marathon path...or maybe in my dreams. Humidity was 95%. Started raining at the end of my run. Certainly not a hard run, but my legs felt tight. I'm was more warmed up after completing the run than when I was running.
Tomorrow is another day. Going to run the last 12-mile segement of the marathon course...or at least that's the plan.
